What is This Website or Newsletter or Whatever It Is?
Hi. Welcome to my new corner of the Internet, dedicated to providing information, thoughts, insights, etc. for this ever-volatile world we live in.
A little bit about me: I’m really just some guy–that’s the honest truth. There’s nothing particularly special about me. I’m not a journalist, a lawyer, or an expert in global politics. In truth, when it comes to matters of political significance, I’m the first to admit that I’ve spent quite a bit of time on the sidelines, choosing to study and observe, rather than get involved in any real capacity. Sure, I’ve been to the odd protest here and there, but more out of curiosity than to participate. It’s not that I didn’t believe in any given cause so much as I’ve had a distinct set of responsibilities that I felt weren’t conducive to active protest at the time–in other words, I’m a middle-aged parent, and I mistakenly felt that protest in any form was a younger person’s game.
I was wrong.
Conventional wisdom has often suggested that the older we get, the more conservative we get. If that’s the plan, well, it didn’t take, at least not for me. This past presidential election broke me, as I suspect it broke many people. I’ve awakened each day since Trump’s inauguration angrier than the day before. So, I took a long, hard look at myself and my life and wondered, what can I be doing? I can’t change the world. I probably can’t even change a single vote in the next election. But I can put the things I am good at to use for those that want to fight back.
One thing about me that very few people know: I don’t care about rules. I never have and I never will. Sure, I abide by societal laws for the most part, we all do, but rules? I don’t do rules. When I’m told I can’t do something, I guarantee I’ll do it anyway. When something is forbidden, I’ll find a way to have it. When I’m told something is impossible, I’ll make it happen. I have largely lived and thrived without structure for my entire life–from a chaotic childhood, well into middle-age.
We now live under a government that disregards the rules too. I saw this coming nearly 10 years ago when Trump was running for his first term. But what might work for someone like me, an individual, does not work for an entire country, particularly when our so-called leaders impose their will on us, their rules on us, while neglecting to follow those same rules themselves.
They’re liars. They’re cheats. They’re criminals. And they’ll destroy our democracy if we let them. My assertion here is that if we all do small things every day to fight back, we’ll ultimately win. Whether that’s to stop feeding the biased, bought-and-paid-for mainstream media machine, or declining to shop or spend money anywhere that has supported the Trump regime, or even something as simple as showing support for the many marginalized people in our society–all of whom deserve our respect, our love, and our support.
I said above that I’m no expert in politics, that’s true. That said, I am an expert in chaos and information. I’ve been deeply entrenched in online life since I was 10 years old, dating back to 1981 (yes, some of us were “online” way back then, believe it or not). While the darkest parts of that history are none of your business, I am very much an expert in how to survive, and even thrive, in a privacy-challenged world. I’m very good at gathering and disseminating information, and I’m downright fucking gifted at disruption in nearly any form.
I won’t be changing the world by myself, it’ll take all of us to do that. This here is simply the first step toward that goal–a place where I can post things that might be of value or interest to others that feel the same way.
For regular updates, please feel free to subscribe. It’s free for now, though if it catches on I might need to charge a dollar or two a month to cover the costs of beehiiv, I haven’t decided yet. I certainly don’t need to profit from it, that goes against everything I believe in.

PS: Why “Anarchy Unlimited?” No reason other than I thought it sounded cool. That’s it. That’s the reason. It also sort of fits though, doesn’t it? I think it does.
Cheers.
